Gelonghui, April 26, 丨 China Vocational Education (01756.HK) announced that for the six months ended February 29, 2024, the Group's revenue was about RMB 640.1 million, an increase of about 16.8% year-on-year over the same period last year, thanks to an increase in the number of students enrolled and average tuition fees during the reporting period. The Group achieved a gross profit margin of 53.9%, a year-on-year decrease of 5.0% compared to the same period last year.
The Group recorded profit before tax of approximately RMB 240.6 million, an increase of approximately 9.6% over the same period last year of approximately RMB 219.6 million. The Group's adjusted net profit increased by approximately 5.6% from approximately RMB 216.5 million for the six months ended February 28, 2023 to approximately RMB 228.7 million for the six months ended February 29, 2024.
