Zhitong Finance learned that recently, OIN (Open Invention Network), the world's largest patent protection community, announced that NAAS.US (NAAS.US) has become a member of the OIN community. This is currently the only Chinese company to join OIN in the field of energy digitalization.
The OIN community is committed to implementing patent protection for core Linux systems and related open source technology, and cross-licensing Linux system patents for free. Currently, the OIN community has more than 3,800 members worldwide, including well-known Chinese companies such as Alibaba, Tencent, China UnionPay, Ant Financial, JD, and Haier.
Regarding the addition of the energy chain, OIN CEO Keith Bergelt said, “Currently, the share of the electric vehicle market continues to increase dramatically around the world, and the support of the charging infrastructure network is inseparable from this. Energy Chain and its subsidiary Energy Chain Smart Electronics are representative companies that use open source software to build charging networks.
