Bitcoin Falls Below $64,000 Following GDP, Jobless Claims Data; Crypto Stocks Fall

$Bitcoin (BTC.CC)$ moved lower, with the cryptocurrency prices falling below the key $64,000 level on Thursday.

On the news, stocks like $Coinbase (COIN.US)$ fell. $Marathon Digital (MARA.US)$ fell 2,6%, $Riot Platforms (RIOT.US)$ fell 2.6%.

U.S. initial jobless claims declined by 5,000 to 207,000 in the week ending April 20, compared to market estimates of 214,000. The U.S. economy grew an annualized 1.6% in the first quarter, marking a notable slowdown from the 3.4% rate in the final quarter of 2023

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $2.36 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 4.3%. BTC was trading lower by 3.9% at $63,990 while ETH fell by around 4.7% to $3,127 on Thursday.
