Gelonghui, April 25 | Sun Moon Light Semiconductor (ASX.US) announced financial results for the first quarter of 2024. The financial report showed that the company's revenue for the first quarter was NT$13,803 billion (same unit), up 1.5% year on year and down 17.3% month on month; net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company was 5.682 billion yuan, down from 5.817 billion yuan in the first quarter of 2023, and 9.392 billion yuan in the fourth quarter of 2023. Basic earnings per share were $1.32 (or $0.084 per American Depositary Share), compared to $1.36 for the first quarter of 2023 and $2.18 for the fourth quarter.
In the first quarter of 2024, the net revenue of the company's packaging business, testing business, EMS business and other businesses accounted for about 45%, 9%, 45%, and 1% of the company's total net revenue, respectively
