According to the Zhitong Finance App, Sinopharm Holdings (01099) announced Sinopharm (000028.SZ)'s results for the first quarter of 2024, with operating income of about 19.09 billion yuan, up 2.16% year on year; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was about 389 million yuan, up 7.33% year on year; basic earnings per share were 0.7 yuan.

According to the announcement, the decline in net profit was mainly due to large sales of emergency supplies such as physico-chemical diagnosis and masks in the retail sector during the same period last year. At the same time, some regions were affected by policies such as outpatient coordination, which led to a decline in performance in the current period.
