On April 24, the “Shenzhen Multinational Corporation Headquarters Enterprise Licensing Ceremony and Shenzhen Foreign Investment Enterprise Roundtable”, co-hosted by the Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau, was held in Shenzhen. 62 multinational headquarters companies, including Aurora Mobile (NASDAQ: JG), were awarded licenses. At the event, Li Meng, director of the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau, presented licenses to enterprises headquartered by Shenzhen multinational companies such as Aurora. Huang Xiaoyu, deputy director of the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau, said in his speech that Shenzhen will continue to promote a high level of opening-up to the outside world, and departments in all districts of the city will work together to create a market-based, rule-of-law, and world-class business environment at all levels to provide better guarantees and support for the operation and development of foreign-invested enterprises and the continuous convergence of high-end global elements.

At the meeting, the Shenzhen Investment Promotion Bureau interpreted policies relating to foreign investment. Sixteen government departments, including the Shenzhen Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology Innovation, the Municipal Public Security Bureau, and the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, had face-to-face exchanges with enterprise representatives to provide focused answers on topics such as talent support, data compliance, immigration management, and industrial development that multinational headquarters enterprises are concerned about, and effectively respond to the concerns of the vast number of foreign-invested enterprises.

The event aimed to further strengthen cooperation and mutual trust between Shenzhen and foreign-funded enterprises, and build a bridge of communication between enterprises and the government. It demonstrated Shenzhen's firm confidence in attracting and utilizing foreign investment more vigorously and effectively and promoting further expansion of opening-up.
