Yingtou Securities: Investors maintained a strong buying mentality on dips during market sell-off

Yingtou Securities said that the dips buying strategy occupies an important position in the list of the most actively traded stocks and options on its platform every week.

The Zhitong Finance App learned that Yingtou Securities said that the diff buying strategy occupies an important position in the list of the most actively traded stocks and options on its platform every week. The list comes after stocks continued to be sold off last week.

Nvidia (NVDA.US) topped the list of 25 most actively traded assets for the second week in a row, followed by Tesla (TSLA.US). In the five working days before Yingtou Securities announced the list on Tuesday, the total number of Nvidia stock and options transactions on the Yingtou Securities platform was 477,400, and Tesla's total number of stock and options transactions was 335,700.

Steve Sosnick, chief strategist at Yingtou Securities, said in a report: “What impressed me this week was not the list or the order in which they appeared — which, frankly, is typical — but that all 25 stocks have had net purchases over the past 5 days.” According to the data, Nvidia's net purchases were 25,351, Tesla's net purchases were 28,809, and the platform also recorded 5195 net purchases of AMD (AMD.US). However, during the period recorded by this list, the S&P 500 index and the Nasdaq Composite Index, which mainly focuses on technology stocks, fell for six consecutive trading days due to soaring bond yields due to inflation concerns weakening expectations of interest rate cuts.

Steve Sosnick said, “If you're wondering if 'buy on the diff' is still the most important mentality for our customers, don't worry, it's still strong.”
