Barclays plc (GB:BARC) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has recently bought back 3.767 million of its own shares, which were subsequently cancelled, as part of a share repurchase program initiated on February 21, 2024. Post cancellation, the company’s issued share capital stands at over 15 billion shares. Since the start of the buy-back program, Barclays has acquired close to 188.6 million shares at an average price of 178.57p each.
