Gelonghui, April 22, 丨 CWT INT'L (00521.HK) announced that on April 12, 2024, the company signed a cooperation intention agreement with an independent third party, Hainan Yangpu Holdings Investment Co., Ltd. (Yangpu Investment) to introduce resources such as collection and cold chain storage in the food industry; (ii) commodity warehouse pledge pilot feasibility study; (iii) dangerous goods warehouse project cooperation; and (iv) Danzhou Yangpu Wharf port supporting logistics project cooperation.
Yangpu Investment is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hainan Yangpu Development and Construction Holdings Co., Ltd. It is the main investment, industrial investment, asset investment and construction entity of Yangpu Holdings, and is responsible for asset operation and management. Yangpu Investment's own and authorized operating assets include land, plants, warehouses, pipe galleries, apartments, shops, etc., and focuses on joint ventures in industries such as cold chain logistics, digital economy, green energy, building economy, and supply chain.
The board of directors believes that the proposed cooperation is a deepening of the strategic cooperation agreement signed by the company with the Yangpu Economic Development Zone Management Committee of Hainan Province on August 6, 2023, which will help further promote and implement the company's business development in the Yangpu Economic Development Zone, and ultimately create more value for shareholders.
