On April 22, GLONGHUI | MONGOL MINING (00975.HK) announced that for the quarter ended March 31, 2024, the total raw coal mining volume of the Group's UHG and BN mines was 3,563.7 thousand tons. Compared with the period ending March 31, 2023 and the quarter ended 31 December 2023, a year-on-year decrease of 8% and a 16% month-on-month increase, respectively.
The Group processed a total of 3,694.6 thousand tons of coking coal raw coal to produce 2,161.7 thousand tons of washed coking coal products. Compared with the period ending March 31, 2024, the year-on-year increase was 47%, and the month-on-month increase was 26% compared with the previous quarter ended December 31, 2023.
In the first quarter of 2024, ER and KEX, the Group's operating subsidiaries, sold a total of 1,650.3 thousand tons of washed coking coal products. Compared with the same period in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 3%, and a decrease of 5% month-on-month compared with the quarter ended December 31, 2023.
