(00489) announced that on April 19, 2024, Dongfeng Motor Company, the controlling shareholder of the company, acquired 5.85 million H shares of the company at an average price of HK$2.79 through the Hong Kong Stock Connect pipeline. Following this increase in holdings, Dongfeng Motor Company's direct and indirect holdings of the company increased to about 6.084 billion shares on the date of this announcement, accounting for about 73.47% of the total number of shares issued.
