The Zhitong Finance App learned that Skyworth Group (00751) rose by more than 6% and rose 6.17% at press time to HK$3.27, with a turnover of HK$20.35 million.

According to the news, after 14 departments including the Ministry of Commerce jointly released the “Action Plan to Promote Trade-In of Consumer Goods” a few days ago, Guangdong, Hunan, Shandong and other places have also introduced policies to encourage trade-in of consumer goods such as home appliances. The enthusiasm of some consumers has already been ignited. Companies such as Midea Group and Haier Smart Home have successively launched relevant initiatives to actively seek opportunities in this round of trade-in of home appliances. At the same time, home appliance companies are also paying close attention to recycling used household appliances and are striving to do a good job of recycling waste household appliances in a green way.

Guotai Junan recently released a research report saying that according to data from the Overseas General Administration, from January to February 2024, the overall export sales/sales volume of home appliances was +20.8%/+38.6%, exceeding China's overall export sales growth rate (+7.1%). Benefiting from stock replenishment and recovery in terminal demand, export orders for home appliances increased rapidly under the low base effect, and related export companies also benefited relatively. Short-term export orders are booming, and the long-term trend of going overseas has been established. On a short-term basis, benefiting from channel inventory replenishment and the recovery in terminal demand in some regions, export companies' Q1 performance is expected to perform well under the low base effect.
