According to the news, Brilliance China said that after considering the Group's financial and cash flow situation and any possible new strategic investment options, the board of directors decided to declare a special dividend of HK$1.5 per share, which is expected to be distributed in cash on or around May 17 to shareholders registered in the company's shareholder register on or around May 17.
The company stated that after paying the special dividend, most of the net proceeds from the sale of BMW Brilliance's 25% shares will be distributed to shareholders through the special dividend, while the remaining net proceeds will be retained as the group's working capital. The company may consider further dividends during the year in response to its cash flow situation.
