(01055.HK) announced that in March 2024, the Group's passenger capacity investment (in terms of usable seat kilometers) increased 22.44% year on year, with domestic, regional and international increases of 5.74%, 46.19% and 178.57% year on year; passenger turnover (in terms of passenger kilometer revenue) increased 36.08% year on year. The passenger occupancy rate was 82.33%, up 8.26 units year on year; the passenger occupancy rate was 82.33%, up 8.26 units year on year Percentage points. China and the international community increased by 8.23 and 8.18 percentage points, respectively, and the region decreased by 0.81 percentage points year on year.
In terms of freight, in March 2024, freight capacity investment (in terms of usable tons of kilometers - freight and mail traffic) increased 21.95% year on year; cargo and mail turnover (in terms of tons of revenue - freight and mail traffic) increased 29.91% year on year; and cargo and mail carrying rate was 53.21%, up 3.26 percentage points year on year.
In March 2024, the Group did not add any new major routes. In March 2024, the Group introduced 5 aircraft (including 1 A320NEO aircraft, 2 A321NEO aircraft, 1 B737MAX aircraft, and 1 ARJ21 aircraft) and withdrew 1 A320 aircraft. As of the end of March 2024, the Group operated a total of 917 transport aircraft.
