According to reports, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman (Sam Altman) hosted hundreds of “Fortune 500” company executives in San Francisco, New York, and London this month to promote OpenAI's AI services, including the ChatGPT enterprise edition.

These roadshow-like events suggest that OpenAI is looking to increase new revenue streams from businesses around the world. According to participants, during these three promotion events, Ultraman directly addressed more than 100 executives from each city.

At every event, Ultraman and OpenAI's COO Brad Lightcap provided product demonstrations, including ChatGPT Enterprise (ChatGPT Enterprise). This is an enterprise-grade product of OpenAI's famous chatbot ChatGPT. It directly connects to GPT-4, provides unlimited access, advanced data analysis functions, customized services, etc., and supports processing longer text input.

OpenAI promises that data from ChatGPT Enterprise customers will not be used to train its models. While talking to prospects from industries such as finance, healthcare, and energy, OpenAI executives also highlighted a range of applications such as call center management and translation. They noted that over 92% of the “Fortune 500” companies are already using their consumer version of ChatGPT.

Attendees also said that some of the executives attending the event asked why they should pay for ChatGPT Enterprise if they are already Microsoft customers. Ultraman replied that paying for corporate services allows them to directly collaborate with the OpenAI team, connect to the latest models, and have more opportunities to obtain customized AI products.

Currently, OpenAI is working hard to diversify its revenue streams. According to people familiar with the matter, the company is expected to achieve its revenue target of 1 billion US dollars this year. While striving to create new products for consumers, OpenAI anticipates that selling products to enterprises will bring more revenue to the company. OpenAI COO Brad Lightcap said last week that more than 600,000 people have signed up to use the ChatGPT Enterprise Edition, far higher than the 150,000 people in January.

Additionally, LightCap has reached out to Hollywood studio executives to promote the company's Sora video creation tool. The technology can create and optimize videos based on users' textual descriptions, which both excites creatives and makes them anxious.

According to reports, two major Hollywood studios are already seeking access to this app, although there are concerns about the reliability of the video sources and output used to train Sora, and its ability to protect copyrighted works. People familiar with the matter also claimed that Fox and News Corp had a conversation with Ultraman in October last year.
