梅赛德斯奔驰对特斯拉进军印度表示欢迎:我们的充电桩将向他们开放

Mercedes-Benz welcomes Tesla's entry into India: our charging stations will be open to them

Tesla CEO Musk announced this week that he will visit India later this month and meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Outsiders speculate that during his current visit, Musk may announce Tesla's plans to build a factory in India.

As India's leading luxury car seller. Mercedes-Benz sees Tesla's entry into the Indian market as a positive development, and Tesla's arrival will drive the overall growth of the electric vehicle market.

Santosh Iyer (Santosh Iyer), general manager and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India, recently said in an interview: “Our electric vehicle charging stations will be open to Tesla cars, just like other brands of electric cars.” This optimistic outlook reflects the company's confidence in the expanding electric vehicle market and the potential benefits of new competitors.

Mercedes-Benz currently sells electric models in India and operates 116 charging stations at 36 locations in India. Although Tesla is about to enter the electric vehicle market, Yale is not worried about this, pointing out that Tesla's target price is far lower than that of Mercedes.

Yale believes that new entrants to the market will lead to expansion rather than competition for existing shares. “New entrants will only expand sales in different fields and expand the market,” he said.
