The total sales of camera modules was 37.926 million units, up 32.2% from the previous month; of these, sales of mobile phone camera modules were 36.839 million units, a decrease of 1.7% year on year, and an increase of 31.8% month on month. The total number of fingerprint recognition modules sold was 8.866 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 4.5% and a month-on-month increase of 63.9%.
According to the announcement, sales volume of camera module products increased month-on-month, mainly due to seasonal recovery after the Spring Festival holiday and customer project cycle factors. The number of camera module sales in other fields increased sharply year over year, mainly due to the good development of the Group's business in automotive and Internet of Things (IoT) camera module products.
