According to the news, Minimally Invasive Healthcare announced that it has obtained US$150 million in convertible term loan financing to repay the outstanding amount of approximately US$448 million in 2026 convertible bonds. The company signed an agreement with the original lender, with an annual interest rate of 5.75%, which is expected to increase by no more than 50 million US dollars. The estimated net proceeds are approximately $145 million to $195 million for debt repayment, expenses and general business purposes. According to reports, original lender A, original lender B, and original lender C are all managed and controlled by Gao Lin Investment.

The announcement also revealed that Minimally Invasive Healthcare is communicating with a number of financial institutions and is expected to receive more than 300 million US dollars in credit support. According to the 2023 annual report previously announced by Minimally Invasive Healthcare, the company has convertible bonds with a principal amount of US$448 million to be redeemed in June 2024, and short-term bank loans of US$295 million due and repaid in 2024. As of the end of 2023, the company's cash and cash equivalents were US$1,019 million.
