According to the Zhitong Finance App, China Wood International (01822) announced results for the year ended December 31, 2023, with revenue of HK$323 million, up 122.5% year on year; profit attributable to company owners of HK$1,201 million, loss of HK$150 million in the same period last year; basic profit per share of HK$0.66.
The increase in the Group's revenue during the period was mainly due to the increase in the turnover of timber-related businesses from around HK$133 million in 2022 to around HK$312 million in fiscal 2023.
Furthermore, the company will apply to the Stock Exchange to resume trading of the company's shares starting at 9:00 a.m. on April 5, 2024.
