According to Zhitong Finance App, Greentech International (00195) announced that Renison tailings are part of the Renison tin project (Renison) managed by Bluestone Mines Tasmania Joint Venture Pty Ltd (BMTJV), and YT Parksong Australia Holding Pty Limited, an indirect non-wholly-owned subsidiary of the group, holds 50% of the shares.
Metals X Limited (Metals X, a limited company incorporated in Australia whose shares are listed on the Australian Stock Exchange) holds 50% of BMTJV's shares and another 50% of Renison's shares through it.
Feasibility study updates will focus on the impact of changes in thermal power plant technology, market conditions and available fuel sources. Capital cost estimates and contract strategies will be updated to make final investment decisions. The definitive feasibility study update is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2024.
Pending confirmation of the completion of the feasibility study update, the company will publish an announcement on the updated Rennison tailings ore reserves. However, it is expected that there will be no significant changes in Renison tailings ore reserves.
It was further pointed out that previously reported mineral resources of Renison tailings and Renison Bell ore reserves and mineral resources were not affected.
