SDIC Securities pointed out that in the current context of the acceleration of large-scale blast furnaces in the steel industry and the transformation and upgrading of the overall industrial structure, domestic demand for high-quality coking coal may become more urgent. As an essential raw material in the steelmaking process, its quality directly affects the quality and cost control of steel products. In particular, under the trend of improving the efficiency, energy saving and emission reduction, and low-carbon development of the steel industry, the importance of high-quality coking coal is becoming more and more prominent.
The bank also said that the ongoing new round of state-owned enterprise reforms has brought unprecedented opportunities to central enterprises in the coal industry. By implementing the “one profit and five rate” assessment mechanism, coal central enterprises are expected to achieve significant improvements in profitability, operational efficiency, technological innovation, and sustainable development capabilities. Combined with the “market value management” strategy actively implemented by enterprises, coal central enterprises are expected to further optimize the asset structure and improve the efficiency of asset use, thereby achieving continuous improvement in return on net assets (ROE).
