BMW Group and India's Tata Technologies announced on Tuesday that they will form a joint venture to develop software for the German luxury car manufacturer.
Tata Technologies said the joint venture would develop features such as autonomous driving software and dashboard systems, but did not disclose any financial details of the agreement.
Tata Technology and the BMW Group will each hold 50% of the shares in the newly formed company.
