Recently, Aurora Mobile (NASDAQ, JG), a leading customer interaction and marketing technology service provider in China, officially reached a cooperation with China General Artificial Intelligence (AGI) company, Beijing MoonShot AI (MoonShot AI, hereinafter referred to as “Dark Side of the Moon”) to provide messaging and Aurora authentication services for its intelligent assistant product, Kimi Chat App.
Dark Side of the Moon chose to cooperate with Aurora as a representative of China's leading AGI company, demonstrating its high recognition of Aurora's service capabilities and full trust in technical strength. The two sides are looking forward to this cooperation and will continue to explore more possibilities in the field of AGI.
According to reports, Dark Side of the Moon was founded in March 2023. In October 2023, Dark Side of the Moon announced that it had achieved a breakthrough in the field of “long text” and launched Kimi Chat, the first smart assistant product that supports the input of 200,000 Chinese characters, marking that Dark Side of the Moon has reached the world's leading level in this important technology. Recently, Dark Side of the Moon completed a new round of financing of over 1 billion US dollars. Investors include Sequoia China, Xiaohongshu, Meituan, and Ali, and the old shareholders followed suit. This is the largest single round of financing that a major domestic AI model company has received so far. Less than a year after its establishment, Dark Side of the Moon has reached a valuation of about 2.5 billion US dollars, making it one of the leading companies in the domestic model field.
