This is a landmark point for the official launch of Xuyang Group's hydrogen energy business in Hohhot Park. It is also an important strategic development for Xuyang's overall hydrogen energy industry layout. On the basis of becoming the largest supplier of high-purity hydrogen in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Xuyang increased the total production capacity of high-purity hydrogen to 24 tons/day, opened up the Hubao Ewu hydrogen energy market, covered the entire hydrogen energy industry chain business in North China, and further expanded Xuyang's hydrogen energy landscape, laying a solid foundation for future large-scale development of Xuyang's hydrogen energy integrated ecosystem and “Western hydrogen delivery” to supply high-quality green energy to hydrogen agglomeration areas.
On March 3, 2022, the General Office of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region issued “Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development of the Hydrogen Energy Industry”, clarifying that by 2025, the region will have a production capacity of more than 500,000 tons/year, build more than 100 hydrogen fueling stations, promote more than 5,000 heavy hydrogen trucks, and build more than 10 demonstration applications of green hydrogen in the fields of chemicals, metallurgy, distributed power generation, cogeneration, cogeneration, etc.; by the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan, it will form a hydrogen energy industry cluster integrating preparation, storage, transportation and application.

Xuyang Group's PSA hydrogen production plant in Hohhot Park has a scale of 50 million square meters/year, and is also equipped with a hydrogen production and filling station with a filling capacity of 1,000 standard square meters per hour. The raw gas for hydrogen production is mainly decarbonized gas. An advanced RPSA gas separation system is used to selectively adsorb and separate gases under different pressures using an adsorbent through a variable pressure (RPSA) process. The RPSA gas separation system is compact, skid-mounted, and has the advantages of excellent performance, high recovery rate, strong reliability, easy handling, and low energy consumption. It can produce high-purity hydrogen with a purity of not less than 99.999%, providing clean energy for the chemical, metallurgical, transportation and other industries.
According to the “Xuyang Group Hydrogen Energy Development Plan” and annual plan schedule, Xuyang Hydrogen Energy plans to establish four hydrogen support bases in Dingzhou, Xingtai, Tangshan and Hohhot in 2024 to achieve continuous growth in hydrogen sales. This time, the hydrogen production plant in the Hohhot Park successfully delivered hydrogen, making Xuyang Hydrogen Energy's development layout a good start this year. In the future, Xuyang Hydrogen Energy will expand the Group's high-purity hydrogen production capacity to 34 tons/day, plan and build green hydrogen projects in stages to form a green hydrogen production capacity of 5,000 tons/year. In particular, the Hohhot Park can accelerate the layout of green hydrogen production lines with rich renewable resources and green electricity indicators in the park, and later link the Group's chemical sector to produce products such as green methanol and green ammonia synthesis.
It is foreseeable that the hydrogen energy industry development in Xuyang Group's Hohhot Park will enter a period of accelerated growth. In the short term, they will further plan to expand high-purity hydrogen production using abundant low-cost hydrogen resources, rationally lay out and build 10 hydrogen, electric, oil and gas four-in-one integrated energy stations. At the same time, along with the expansion of the hydrogen energy market, actively promote green hydrogen liquefaction demonstrations, and combine multiple dimensions to build a hydrogen energy insurance and supply center in Hushi to expand and improve the overall strategic layout of Xuyang hydrogen energy.
