According to the Zhitong Finance App, Beijing Energy International (00686) announced its 2023 results, achieving revenue of 5.568 billion yuan, an increase of 35.31% over the previous year; profit attributable to shareholders of 42 million yuan; basic profit per share of 0.19 cents.

As of December 31, 2023, the Group had 140 solar power plants (2022:105), 28 (2022:20) wind power plants, 26 (2022: none) hydroelectric power plants, and 1 (2022: none) energy storage power station, with a total grid-connected installed capacity of about 8,577 megawatts (“megawatts”) (2022: about 5,603 megawatts). As of December 31, 2023, with the exception of 1 and 2 wind power plants in Vietnam and Australia, respectively, the rest of the Group's power plants were located in China. In this year, the Group's power plants in China were spread across 26 (2022:23) different provinces. Furthermore, on December 31, 2023, the Group also owned 2 (2022:2) solar power plants, 1 (2022:1) wind power plant, and 2 (2022: none) hydroelectric power plants, with a total grid-connected installed capacity of about 576 megawatts (2022: about 224 megawatts) through joint ventures.

In the current year, the total power generation capacity of power plants owned by the company's subsidiaries increased significantly from about 7,141,204 megawatt-hours (“megawatt-hours”) for the year ended December 31, 2022 to about 11,994,209 megawatt-hours, an increase of about 68%. All of these power plants have been connected to the grid and have been generating electricity steadily.
