According to the Zhitong Finance App, Hard Egg Innovation (00400) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of 8.863 billion yuan (RMB, same below) during the period, a year-on-year decrease of 7%; profit attributable to the company's equity shareholders was 211 million yuan, a decrease of 33% over the previous year; and the basic profit per share was 0.154 yuan.
According to the announcement, the Group's revenue includes sales of IC, other electronic components, AIoT products and self-developed and semiconductor products of about 8.817 billion yuan, revenue from software licensing services of about 4.6 million yuan, and revenue of Gravity Financial Services about 41.8 million yuan. The decline in revenue was mainly due to a slowdown in chip demand growth in the consumer electronics category. The gross profit for the year ended December 31, 2023 was about 1.03 billion yuan, a decrease of about 7.5% compared with the 2022 figure of about 1,113 billion yuan.
