According to the Zhitong Finance App, Global New Materials International (06616) announced its 2023 results, achieving revenue of approximately RMB 1,064 billion, an increase of about 16.1%; profit attributable to shareholders was approximately RMB 182 million, a year-on-year decrease of about 18.9%; and basic profit per share was RMB 0.15.
The Group's total revenue increased from approximately RMB 916.8 million in fiscal year 2022 to approximately RMB 1,064.1 million in fiscal year 2023, an increase of approximately 16.1% over the previous year. Revenue from business operations in China accounted for about 90.3% of the Group's total revenue for fiscal year 2023 (FY2022:100%), an increase of about 4.8% from approximately RMB 916.8 million in fiscal year 2022 to approximately RMB 960.9 million in fiscal year 2023. This increase was mainly due to increased sales of synthetic mica-based pearlescent pigment products. Since August 2023, CQV has been merged into the Group's accounts as a non-wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. The revenue generated by the Korean business was approximately RMB 103.1 million in fiscal year 2023, accounting for about 9.7% of the Group's total revenue for fiscal year 2023 (FY2022:0).
