According to the Zhitong Finance App, Starlight Culture (01159) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained revenue of HK$80,336 million, an increase of 33.34%; the owner of the parent company had losses of HK$45.72 million, a year-on-year decrease of 66.35%; and a loss of HK5.55 cents per share.
The announcement said that even if the Group achieved an increase in gross profit and a decrease in net losses in 2023 compared to 2022, the slowdown in business activities due to the impact of COVID-19 in recent years and delays in some of the film and TV series projects being developed by the Group continued to affect the Group's financial results during the year.
