According to the Zhitong Finance App, Li Tu Holdings (01008) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved continuous operating income of HK$717 million during the period, a year-on-year decrease of 22.81%; losses attributable to shareholders of HK$164 million; profit attributable to shareholders of HK$6.204 million during the same period last year, profit to loss over the same period last year; basic loss of HK$0.105 per share.
According to the announcement, the decrease in total revenue from continuing operations was mainly due to the failure of one of the company's subsidiaries to place orders from some of its major customers, leading to a decline in the printing and manufacturing of paper packaging and related materials. Furthermore, compared with the same period in 2022, the average exchange rate of RMB against the Hong Kong dollar depreciated by about 4.8%, increasing the impact of the decline.
