According to Zhitong Finance App, China Liansu (02128) announced its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained revenue of RMB 30.868 billion (same unit), an increase of 0.3%; profit attributable to company owners was RMB 2,368 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 6.07%; profit per share was 0.77 yuan, and it is intended to pay a final dividend of HK20 cents per share.
Overall revenue remained flat at $30.868 billion (2022: $30.767 billion). The gross profit was 8.121 billion yuan (2022:8.241 billion yuan), and the gross margin remained stable at 26.3% (2022:26.8%), mainly due to the increase in overall sales volume of the plastic piping system business, which adjusted average sales prices in a timely manner due to lower raw material costs during the year; and the increase in revenue contributions from other businesses with a gross margin lower than that of the plastic piping systems business.
