According to the Zhitong Finance App, Xinghe Holdings (01891) announced the annual results for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2023. The company's revenue was MYR 1,347 billion, a year-on-year decrease of about 4.1%; the company's gross profit was MYR 77.08 million, up about 47.3% year on year; profit attributable to company owners was MYR 8.54 million, an increase of 258.7% year on year; basic profit per share was 0.85 HK cents.

According to reports, the decline in the Group's earnings is mainly due to a decrease in the average selling price of ferrous scrap metal, which is the Group's main source of revenue. The Group's sales volume of ferrous scrap in fiscal year 2023 reached 725,600 tons, an increase of about 7.5% over fiscal year 2022.
