According to the Zhitong Finance App, Weili Holdings (02372) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The Group's revenue was RMB 191 million (same unit), a year-on-year decrease of about 33.9%; losses attributable to shareholders were about 2.6 million yuan, while profit of about 25 million yuan was achieved in the same period last year; loss of 0.3 points per share.
According to the announcement, the decrease in revenue was mainly due to a temporary reduction in orders for transfer paper and composite paper from several of the Group's major customers. The director believes that the main reason for the temporary decline in orders is the National Tobacco Monopoly Administration's revision of the cigarette packaging policy (that is, printing QR codes on all cigarette packages).
