According to the Zhitong Finance App, Ruixin Holdings (01399) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved a turnover of 6.145 billion yuan (RMB, same below) during the period, a year-on-year decrease of 3.4%; profit attributable to the company's owners was 20.109 million yuan, a decrease of 16.3%; and the basic profit per share was 1.84 points.
According to the announcement, lithium-ion battery products supplied by the ODM business mainly include mobile phone batteries, tablet batteries, laptop batteries and mobile power supplies. During the review period, mobile phone battery sales accounted for about 74.5% of ODM business revenue (2022:80.2%), and mobile phone battery sales decreased by about 5.1% to about 110 million units (2022:116 million units) and achieved a turnover of about 4.264 billion yuan (2022:4.832 billion yuan), a year-on-year decrease of about 11.7%. According to the product mix, the turnover of mobile phone batteries, tablet batteries, laptop batteries and mobile power supplies accounted for about 74.5%, 13.0%, 4.4% and 3.7% of the Group's ODM business turnover, respectively (2022:80.2%, 9.2%, 4.1% and 4.5%). As the Group is adjusting its development strategy to respond to market changes and actively explore new power supply product markets, including wearable device batteries, vehicle batteries and other types of energy storage batteries, during the review period, total sales of new power products contributed about 221 million yuan (2022:82 million yuan) to ODM business turnover, accounting for about 3.7% (2022:1.4%) of ODM business turnover. As a result, the ODM business division obtained a divisional profit of about 109 million yuan (2022:112 million yuan).
