According to the Zhitong Finance App, Shuntai Holdings (01335) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of HK$424 million during the period, an increase of 34.21% over the previous year; the company's equity shareholders should have accounted for a loss of HK$13.389 million; profit attributable to the company's equity shareholders was HK$7.313 million in the same period last year; and a basic loss of HK$0.006 per share.
According to the announcement, gross profit decreased by about HK$800,000, or about 2.2%, from approximately HK$38.5 million for the year ended 31 December 2022 to approximately HK$37.7 million this year. The Group's gross margin decreased from approximately 12.2% for the year ended December 31, 2022 to approximately 8.9% for the current year. The decrease was mainly due to the semiconductor sales segment where gross margins were lower than in other segments.
