According to the Zhitong Finance App, Bank of China (03988) announced its 2023 results, with net interest income of 466.545 billion yuan, up 1.58% year on year; operating income of 624.138 billion yuan, up 6.42% year on year; the bank's shareholders' profit after tax was 231.904 billion yuan, up 2.38% year on year; basic earnings per share were 0.74 yuan, with a final dividend of 2.364 yuan per 10 shares.

By the end of 2023, the Group's total assets and liabilities reached 32.43 trillion yuan and 29.68 trillion yuan respectively, up 12.25% and 12.70%; the non-performing loan ratio was 1.27%, a decrease of 0.05 percentage points; and the capital adequacy ratio reached 17.74%, an increase of 0.22 percentage points.

At the end of 2023, the Group's total customer loans amounted to RMB 199,61.779 billion, an increase of RMB 2,409.018 billion over the end of the previous year, an increase of 13.72%. Among them, the total amount of RMB loans was 16.703.66 billion yuan, an increase of 2,360.69 billion yuan over the end of the previous year, an increase of 16.46%; total foreign currency loans were equivalent to US$460.11 billion, a decrease of US$861 million from the end of the previous year, a decrease of 0.19%. The total deposits of the Group's customers amounted to RMB 229,070.50 billion, an increase of RMB 2,705.225 billion over the end of the previous year, an increase of 13.39%. Among them, the total deposits of RMB customers were RMB 182,82.47 billion, an increase of RMB 2,403.36 billion over the end of the previous year, an increase of 15.13%; total deposits of foreign currency customers were equivalent to US$652,940 billion, an increase of US$32.317 billion over the end of the previous year, an increase of 5.21%.
