According to the Zhitong Finance App, Original Ecological Animal Husbandry (01431) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained revenue of RMB 2,209 million (same unit), an increase of 5.66% over the previous year; losses attributable to the company owners were 339 million yuan, compared with a profit of 25.68 million yuan for the same period last year; loss per share.

In terms of herd size and yield, Gensho is one of the leading dairy cattle herding companies in China. During the year, the Group's raw milk sales increased by 12.2% to 460,000 tons compared to 410,000 tons in 2022, and sales of raw goat milk this year decreased by 36.3% to 932 tons compared to 1,463 tons in 2022. Total fresh milk sales revenue was 2.209 billion yuan, up 5.7% from 2.09 billion yuan in 2022. During the year, due to weak demand for raw milk, the average sales price of fresh milk declined slightly, and the Group made a net loss during the year.

Since the launch of the business, the Group has established strong and lasting partnerships with China's top dairy manufacturers. As of 2023, the Group's three major customers are Feihe Dairy Group, Yili Group and Mengniu Group. The growth rate of the liquid milk industry slowed in 2023, and the overall scale maintained a slight increase. These three customers are leading Chinese dairy companies with leading market share and rich product categories, which have had a positive impact on the Group's continued business development. In the future, the Group expects to continue to supply high-quality raw milk products to these three customers for a long time. It is committed to providing raw milk that meets the highest safety and nutritional standards in China, and further consolidating the stability of the Group's customer base in line with the continuous growth in demand for high-end raw milk in the Chinese market.
