According to the Zhitong Finance App, Haitong Hengxin (01905) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained total revenue of 8.412 billion yuan (RMB, same below) during the period, a year-on-year decrease of 1.3%; annual profit of 1,608 billion yuan, an increase of 4.9%; basic income per share of 0.18 yuan; and proposed dividends of 0.42 yuan for every 10 shares.
According to the announcement, the decrease in revenue was mainly due to a decrease in the Group's service fee revenue compared to the previous year, and the increase in financial leasing business revenue and operating lease revenue compared to the previous year.
As of December 31, 2023, the Group's total assets were $123.51 billion, and total equity was $20.045 billion. Total equity increased 7.5% over the end of the previous year.
The Group closely follows the national industrial policy, maintains investment in advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental protection industries, and encourages business development in strategic emerging fields. In 2023, the advanced manufacturing business invested about 16 billion yuan, accounting for more than 28%; the green leasing business invested more than 13 billion yuan, accounting for about 23% of the investment.
The Group continues to improve its comprehensive risk management system and raise the level of compliance and internal control. The overall asset quality remains stable and the risk resilience is strong. On December 31, 2023, the Group's non-performing asset ratio was 1.12%, and the non-performing asset provision coverage rate was 265.82%.
