Ryanair boss says would prefer if Boeing CEO Calhoun stayed on

KRAKOW, Poland, March 28 (Reuters) - Ryanair chief Michael O'Leary said on Thursday that while he is happy with the management changes Boeing has made at production level, he would prefer if CEO Dave Calhoun stayed on to complete the planemaker's turnaround.

Asked if Stephanie Pope, who was named head of Boeing's commercial airplanes division, should be considered as a successor for Calhoun, O'Leary said "no", that Ryanair needed her to remain managing aircraft production in Seattle.

"I'm happy with the management changes in Seattle. I would prefer that Dave Calhoun stayed on to complete the turnaround. I think he's done a good job," O'Leary told reporters in Krakow, Poland.
