According to the Zhitong Finance App, Jinda Holdings (00528) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained revenue of RMB 2,445 million (RMB, same below) during the period, an increase of 21%; profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 164 million, a decrease of 6.88% year on year; basic profit per share of $0.27; and proposed to pay a final dividend of HK$0.09 per share.
According to the announcement, the increase in revenue was mainly due to the increase in the sales price of pure linen yarn during the year. During the year, sales to the Chinese and non-EU markets increased by 54.2% and 12.7%, respectively, while sales to the EU market decreased by 15.2% year-on-year.
