According to the Zhitong Finance App, Shenzhen International (00152) announced its 2023 annual results. The group achieved revenue of HK$20.524 billion during the period, up 32.16% year on year; profit attributable to the company's common stock holders was HK$1,902 billion, up 51.66% year on year; basic profit per share was HK$0.8; and a final dividend of HK$0.4 per share was proposed.

According to the announcement, the increase in total revenue was mainly due to the completion and delivery of Qiancheng Qiwanli, a residential project in Qianhai in the logistics park transformation and upgrading business this year, with confirmed revenue of about HK$5.5 billion. The year-on-year increase in profit attributable to shareholders was mainly due to the completion and acceptance of the Yicheng Qiwanli Project in the logistics park transformation and upgrading business of HK$1,563 billion, as well as further losses to the associated company Shenzhen Airlines Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen Airlines), which did not need to be confirmed this year according to accounting standards.

On December 31, 2023, the Group laid out, managed and operated 37 logistics port projects in nearly 40 logistics node cities across the country, with a total operating area of over 4.76 million square meters. In recent years, the Group has focused on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, focusing on the layout of two logistics hubs linked up and down, Shenzhen and Foshan. In June 2023, the Group successfully obtained land use rights for the first industrial space on a railway yard in the country - the Shenzhen International Integrated Logistics Hub Center covering an area of about 334,000 square meters, with a planned construction area of about 850,000 square meters. In addition, the Group acquired a total area of about 930,000 square meters this year, including successfully obtaining 75,000 square meters of project land at the Shenzhen International Highway Hub Logistics Port (Shenzhen Bao'an) and the acquisition of the Shenzhen International Smart Logistics Port (Shenzhen Pingshan East) covering an area of about 267,000 square meters; in other regions of the Greater Bay Area, the Group successfully competed for two warehouses and construction sites located in Gaoming, Foshan and Gaoyao, Zhaoqing.

At the end of 2023, the Group has obtained management rights over a land area of about 9.08 million square meters, including more than 2.6 million square meters of land area in the Greater Bay Area, an increase of about 600,000 square meters over the same period last year, marking a further consolidation and enhancement of the Group's leading position in the Greater Bay Area.
