Gelonghui, March 28, 丨 CITIC Co., Ltd. (00267.HK) announced its annual results. For the year ended December 31, 2023, the total revenue obtained by the group was RMB 680.832 billion, up 2.6% year on year; net profit attributable to common shareholders was RMB 57.594 billion, down 11% year on year, according to the comparable caliber of one-time revaluation of 10.3 billion yuan excluding CITIC Securities for the same period last year, up 5.4% year on year. The Board recommended a final dividend of RMB 0.335 per share.
As at 31 December 2023, the Group's net loans and advances amounted to RMB5,380.140 billion, an increase of RMB337.406 billion over the end of the previous year, an increase of 6.7%. Loans and advances accounted for 47.48% of total assets, down 0.35 percentage points from the end of the previous year. On December 31, 2023, the Group's financial asset investment book value was RMB3,566.367 billion, an increase of RMB213.171 billion, or 6.8%, over the end of the previous year. Financial asset investment accounted for 29.62% of total assets, down 0.19 percentage points from the end of the previous year. As at 31 December 2023, the total amount of deposits absorbed by the Group was RMB549.993 billion, an increase of RMB309.221 billion over the end of the previous year, an increase of 6.0%. Absorbed deposits accounted for 54.63% of total debt, down 0.71 percentage points from the end of the previous year.
