According to the Zhitong Finance App, United Energy Group (00467) announced its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The collective period achieved a turnover of HK$13.591 billion, an increase of 26.4% over the previous year; losses attributable to shareholders were HK$1,707 billion; profit attributable to shareholders was HK$2,601 billion for the same period last year, which turned profit and loss year on year; basic loss of HK6.53 cents per share.
According to the announcement, the increase in turnover was mainly due to an increase in new trade business during the reporting period; however, it was offset by a drop in actual sales prices for exploration and production operations.
