According to the Zhitong Finance App, Tianji Holdings (01520) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained revenue of HK$66,328 million, a year-on-year decrease of 25.99%; losses attributable to the owners of the company were HK$93.749 million, an increase of 42.27% over the previous year; and a loss of 4.78 HK cents per share.
The increase in losses attributable to company owners during the year was mainly due to loss of about HK$447,000 in other income and losses for the year ended 31 December 2023 (2022: HK$66,221 million). The reason was that after obtaining a one-time net income of about HK$74.762 million from the sale of land and buildings in 2022, there was no sales revenue in 2023; and revenue during the year decreased due to economic difficulties.
