According to the Zhitong Finance App, Future Data Group (08229) announced its 2023 results, with revenue of approximately HK$482 million, a year-on-year decrease of about 22.0%. The loss attributable to the owners of the company was HK$16.367 million, an increase of 3.89 times over the previous year; basic and diluted losses per share were HK3.32 cents.
According to the announcement, the increase in losses was mainly due to a decline in sales due to unfavorable business and economic conditions; and (goodwill impairment losses) of Hong Kong operating entities this year.
