According to the Zhitong Finance App, Jianpeng Holdings (01722) announced its 2023 results, with revenue of about MOP 583 million, a year-on-year decrease of 2.65%; net loss of MOP 34.123 million, an increase of 1.93 times over the previous year; loss per share of MOP 3.12.
The announcement stated that the decrease in revenue was due to a decrease in the number of construction projects carried out by the Group in 2023.
The increase in losses was mainly due to the decline in gross margin of construction projects undertaken by the Group in fiscal year 2023, and the increase in construction costs due to inflation; the Group suffered losses of about MOP 4.5 million due to suspected fraud cases related to machine procurement; and provision for anticipated credit losses on financial assets and contract assets that have not been settled for more than a year.
