According to the Zhitong Finance App, Zhongcheng Energy (02337) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of 7.347 billion yuan (RMB, same below) during the period, an increase of 21% over the previous year; profit attributable to the company's equity shareholders was 39.5 million yuan, an increase of 139% over the previous year; and the basic profit per share was 0.11 yuan.
According to the announcement, the Group's main business activities are selling refined oil products and natural gas through the operation of gas station networks and storage facilities; and providing oil and gas transportation services. The increase in revenue was mainly due to increased sales of the company's wholesale and retail petroleum products in 2023.
