According to the announcement, commission income from securities and futures trading was approximately HK$5.3 million (December 31, 2022: HK$8.5 million) and interest income from securities margin financing was approximately HK$9.2 million (December 31, 2022: HK$13.1 million). The Group will maintain its prudent credit policy and risk management policy in order to achieve a sustainable business environment.
In this year, the Group has so far participated in 31 debt issuances as a joint global coordinator, joint bookkeeper, joint lead manager or placement agent, with a total issuance scale of approximately US$2,284.3 billion on December 31, 2023. These debts are issued through private or public sales, with coupon rates of 3.65% to 8.0% per year. According to data published by Bloomberg News in 2023, according to the issuance volume of each participant, Zhongda Securities ranked 57th among managers issuing offshore Chinese bonds this year.
