According to the Zhitong Finance App, Design City (01545) announced its 2023 results, achieving revenue of SGD 89.506 million, a year-on-year decrease of 7.3%; profit attributable to shareholders of SGD 2.892 million, a year-on-year decrease of 47.39%; and earnings per share of SGD 0.14. It is proposed to pay a final dividend of HK0.38 cents per common share.
According to the announcement, the decline in revenue was mainly due to a decrease in revenue from the furniture sales division in the US and Singapore (although partially offset by increased revenue from the interior design division).
