According to the Zhitong Finance App, Qifu Life Service (03686) announced its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of 345 million yuan (RMB, same below), a year-on-year decrease of 9.88%; profit attributable to shareholders of 858.38 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 9.78%; basic profit per share of 0.085 yuan; and plans to pay a final dividend of HK4.3 cents per share.
According to the announcement, in the year ended December 31, 2023, revenue from retail services decreased by about 10 million yuan or about 7.2% to 130 million yuan, of which revenue from supermarkets decreased by about 8 million yuan or about 9.6%, revenue from convenience stores decreased by about 2.4 million yuan or about 5.6%, and revenue from the fresh food market increased by about 300,000 yuan or about 2.6%. The decline in revenue from retail services was mainly due to customers not hoarding goods after the pandemic for the year ended 31 December 2023.
