Recently, Royal Canadian Mook, a subsidiary of China's Feihe (06186), has obtained approval from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) to produce infant formula.

The Zhitong Finance App learned that recently, Royal Canadian Myoko, a subsidiary of China's Feihe (06186), has obtained approval from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) to produce infant formula. The company has begun the next step in producing the first batch of infant formula, and it is expected that related products will enter local retail distribution channels this summer.

It is worth noting that the milk powder production plant that Feihe invested in Canada was the first infant formula manufacturer in Canada, and it was also the first milk powder brand produced and sold locally in Canada after production was put into operation.

At the end of 2016, Feihe signed a contract with Kingston, Canada to invest in the construction of a factory in the city. The plant was built in June 2017, and commissioning was completed in 2019. This time, it was approved by the Canadian Food and Quarantine Service to produce infant formula, which means that Royal Myoko, a subsidiary of Feihe, has withstood the inspection of the highest safety, quality, and standards in Canada.

As a milk powder brand with over 60 years of history, Feihe Milk Powder occupies an important position in the global milk powder market with its high quality and good reputation. According to Sullivan data, Feihe ranked first in the infant formula market in mainland China for five consecutive years from 2019 to 2023, and ranked first in sales in the global infant formula market for three consecutive years.
